Kurt Cobain and Courtney Love
In 1992, Vanity Fair magazine published an article alleging that Kurt Cobain, the lead singer of Nirvana and a rock icon, along with his partner Courtney Love, used illegal drugs while she was pregnant with their daughter, Frances Bean. The article sparked a significant media controversy, with accusations that Courtney and Kurt were unfit parents. As a result, Child Services temporarily removed Frances from her parent's custody.
Tragically, Kurt Cobain passed away by suicide two years later, and Courtney believes that the Vanity Fair article played a part in his untimely death. She denies any claims of drug use during her pregnancy and maintains her innocence.
