For over two decades, Tom Jones denied that Jonathan Berkery was his son. Jonathan was born after a brief four-day fling with ex-model Katherine Berkery. After a prolonged legal battle and a DNA test, the Welsh singer eventually agreed to pay Katherine a lump sum and provide monthly child support. However, he still refused to acknowledge Jonathan as his child.
Due to his father's abandonment, Jonathan has faced lifelong challenges, including homelessness and dependence on illegal substances. He performs at bars, clubs, and even streets to make ends meet. In 2018, he worked in Hoboken, stacking supermarket shelves for a meager wage of $7.40 per hour.
