Beyoncé and Kelis
Everyone knows the popular song "Milkshake" by Kelis. It's so well-known that Beyoncé wanted to use a part of it in her own song called "Energy". However, Kelis wasn't exactly happy about her music being used in this way.
Beyoncé's record company had the legal right to use the sample, but Kelis says she was young and didn't fully understand what she was agreeing to when she signed the contract. We understand Kelis's situation, but we don't think it's entirely Beyoncé's fault. Despite that, Beyoncé has decided to remove the sample from her album.
