4. Maid Of Dishonor

In March of 2012, I attended a bachelorette party with six women from Canada who traveled to Duluth, Minnesota, to celebrate. The bride and I have been friends since high school, and at the time, her matron of honor was the one who planned and executed the party.

The maid of honor and another girl on the trip met this strange man while we were at the country bar and karaoke bar next door, and he started hanging out with us, which was OK; he was friendly, and we were having a great time being funny with the bride's enormous blow-up doll.

As a result, we decide to close the bar and take a cab back to our hotel, where we will continue to drink in our rooms! We order a taxi. We see at this moment that the matron of honor has gone completely insane and is clinging to this weird dude we don't know. It's not his fault; he didn't know any better; but, she's married with a child, and he's attempting to return her to him.

When two cabs arrive at the bar, we cram everyone into one and try to separate this weird guy from the matron of honor, but she immediately jumps into his SUV with him and... They're driving out into the night; well, there they are...

When the matron of honor hears this, she throws a rage tantrum and declares that she "needs this" and that "it'll be great." She brings him up to the room, locks them in a separate suite, and doesn't let them out for nearly an hour.

After we contact security because we've had enough, this guy eventually emerges from the room and walks out. Matron of Honor is passed out in bed but up in the air, face down. We're all going to hit the ground.

We all wake up the following day, including the matron of honor, who is completely terrified. She assembles what happened and what we tell her happened and then goes insane, blaming her actions on the bride, crying, "How could you let me do that?" The bride is speechless, so I basically told her off and explained how we tried to stop her, but she's insane, and how she went away with him, carried him up here, shut herself in the room, and committed the crime.

She went insane and didn't last long as a matron of honor. She didn't seem to show up for the wedding, either. It meant her (matron of honor) husband to be the best man; she didn't let him go either.
