9. Putting On A Show

My first lover was a close buddy, and I used to swing both ways. So we were at another good friend's bachelorette celebration when we overindulged. We became a little rowdy, so we went to a quiet area to take care of business. The next day, we discovered that the blinds had been open the entire time, allowing others to view us doing our thing... not a good recollection.

My future bridezilla was my sister-in-law. She didn't like it when her pals "didn't pay attention" to her—there were 50 of us, so we were obliged to form groups anyhow.

She dialed the number for the guy with whom she had previously cheated on her now-husband. He's a well-known racecar driver. He comes over. They sneak away, she returns, laments the fact that we ruined her wedding, and contacts her husband to cancel the wedding. Fortunately, I was able to stop it by escorting the other person out and phoning hubby to come to collect her. She's had too many, I informed him. My sister-in-law never thanked me for keeping him in the dark and destroying their marriage... Even though I'm pretty sure she'll go off with him and file for divorce whenever someone better comes along. A year in, things aren't looking good.
