The Egyptians and Astrology
When it comes to the stars, the Egyptians also had their own beliefs: they held the opinion that constellations were made up of star patterns; from this discovery, they established that over the year, the sun moves at particular times.
While what we know about it today was not identical to ancient astrology, it gradually morphed into a science capable of forecasting weather conditions and other agricultural purposes. As time went by, astrology was used by civilizations to predict natural disasters and war. Nothing similar to what it is used now for.
