In São Carlos, Brazil, Izabel Goulart endured teasing at school due to her tall and slender build. Earning her the nickname "giraffe." However, her fortunes changed dramatically when, at the age of 14, a hairdresser recognized her potential as a model.
After gaining attention for a wardrobe malfunction during her debut fashion show. Izabel Goulart appeared on the covers of Marie Claire France and Vogue Brazil in 2005. That year, when she at 21 also earned her wings as a Victoria's Secret Angel. Concluding her runway career with the brand after twelve shows in 2016.
