In 2012, the Caymanian Supermodel launched her swimwear line, SASS (Selita's Accessories, Shoes, and Swimwear). During a 2021 interview with E! True Hollywood Story, she revealed the pressures of modeling for Victoria's Secret, stating, "There's a code you have to follow. There is an expectation to maintain the size, and unfortunately, we are going against Mother Nature."
In her personal life, Selita has been romantically linked with TV hosts Nick Cannon and Terrence J. Today; she channels her passion into running the Stardom Youth Foundation. A talent school aimed at providing career guidance to teenagers in her native Cayman Islands.
