Behati Prinsloo, born in Grootfontein, Namibia, had a lucky start to her modeling career while vacationing with her grandparents in Capetown, South Africa. A chance encounter in a grocery store led to a talent agent recognizing her potential and offering her an opportunity in the fashion industry.
Behati initially modeled for Victoria's Secret's sister brand, PINK, before making her debut on the Victoria's Secret runway in 2009. Her career trajectory soared when she attained Angel status in 2012, marking numerous appearances that showcased her unique charm and style. She concluded her tenure with Victoria's Secret in 2018 after a notable run that included ten appearances as an Angel, just one shy of her close friend Candice Swanepoel.
