8. The Floating Beauty of Jamuna River Islands

The Jamuna River, one of the major rivers in Bangladesh, is home to a cluster of islands that seem to float on its surface. These islands, locally known as "chars," are formed by the continuous deposition of sediment over time.

However, their temporary nature makes them strange and intriguing. Some islands disappear during the monsoon season, only resurfacing in the dry season. These shifting islands and their unique ecosystems and diverse wildlife offer a fascinating study for geologists and environmentalists.
