In the coastal village of Cox's Bazar, visitors can witness a peculiar sight—abandoned World War II-era flying boats partially buried in the sand. These Catalina aircraft, used during the war for surveillance and patrolling, were stationed in Cox's Bazar to defend the coastline.
After the war, the boats were no longer needed and were left to decay on the beach. Over time, the shifting sands covered parts of the aircraft, leaving an enigmatic and eerie spectacle for beachgoers and history enthusiasts.
