Texas and other Southern states are renowned for their rodeos, but you might not have known that bull riding is taken so seriously in Texas that it's considered the state sport.
There's nothing quite like proving your mettle by mounting a fully grown male cow until it becomes so irritated by your presence that it expends all its energy trying to unseat you. While the building may have had practical applications when cattle roamed freely, it now symbolizes Texan nostalgia.
