You've likely come across signs in public places stating "no pets allowed," but only in Texas will you find signs explicitly reminding the public not to bring livestock to stores, parks, and shops.
In most other states, it's generally assumed that horses, cows, pigs, goats, and sheep belong at home or, better yet, in a barn. But for some reason, Texans need a gentle reminder that such behavior isn't acceptable.
