Jail Sale
This Texan resident needed to sell some possessions to make a quick buck before serving a three-year jail sentence. Instead of turning to Craigslist or eBay, he opted for a one-of-a-kind yard sale in front of his Austin home.
He visited the local craft store to promote the event, purchased markers and green construction paper, and developed the catchiest name: the "Going to Jail Sale."
