So Polite!
Normally, when someone breaks into your home, they don't care about the mess they leave behind. Their main concern is finding what they were after and leaving before getting caught doing something they know is wrong.
However, in Canada, even thieves exhibit an unusual level of courtesy. They tidy up after themselves and leave a note apologizing for their actions. It's no wonder the police seem so laid-back; even the criminals are polite and considerate in the Great White North.
