Starting PotatoStock
All Zack “Danger” Brown wanted one day was some potato salad. So, he started a small Kickstarter with the explanation, “I’m just making potato salad. I haven’t decided what kind yet.”
Not to lie to his donors, he did add that it was his first potato salad so “it might not be that good.” The result? Brown surpassed the goal of $10 to raise over $55,000. He used the funds to start a new event, PotatoStock, in his hometown in Colombus, Ohio.
