Innovative Hairnet Solution
Facing a shortage of conventional hairnets at her midtown eatery job, one resourceful line chef devised an unconventional solution. She and her co-workers capitalized on a legal loophole that permits anything fully covering the head to be considered a hairnet.
Leveraging this, they creatively repurposed a head of lettuce by fashioning miniature "yarmulkas" of greenery atop their heads. While their ingenuity might have amused them, the absence of the house salad left customers without their customary dish on that particular day.
