28. Charging Stations Can Be Dangerous
It is convenient to have all of your electronics charged in one place, away from the rest of your belongings. Instead of getting cables all over the place, you have a dedicated location only for your electronics. Sounds great in theory, but in certainty, you end up with a jumble of lines in one place. Furthermore, if you have too many, you'll spend a lot of time trying to figure out which wire goes to which unit. Consider using a charging station box instead of hiding all the adapters and cables for a more streamlined look.
When not in use, a charging station box is a perfect place to conceal all cables and computers. You may have a couple of these in your home as well. Another brilliant idea is to use the drawers on your bedside table. Drill a few holes in the drawer's back. Feed your charging cables into these holes and the wall outlet. You can then store your devices in your drawer while they charge – this is especially useful for those who want to check their phones before going to bed. Of course, you'll be less likely to use them now due to you tuck away them, and you'll be able to get a good night's sleep.
