20. Stopping a Boiling Pot from Overheating
If you don't keep an eye on a pot of water while it's boiling, it might turn into an adventure. It has the potential to boil over, leaving you with an even greater mess to clean up. Unfortunately, it happens to the best of us, and it's inconvenient. So, of course, someone has devised a method to prevent this problem from occurring. Is it, however, effective? This technique entails nothing more than placing a wooden spoon across the top of the pot, which will solve all of your troubles with a boiling pot.
However, it does not function. Regardless of what magical item you place across the water's mouth, it will boil over. We hope this hack was worth a shot, but it has left us unsatisfied. All we can say is that when boiling something, especially milk, you should keep an eye on your pet at all times. It will save you a lot of time when it comes to cleaning. To avoid unnecessary messes, set aside time to prepare and stay in the kitchen during that period.
