In the last decade, animation has come a long way. Although many of today's cartoons are computer-generated, often using sketches on transparent sheets and paper, they have brought together the classic shows and comics of the past.
Consider the shock of one garbage disposal employee who told Reader's Digest that he found himself one day while working a Hollywood backlot.
