24. Valuable Artwork
Some priceless pieces of artwork are certainly not considered rubbish, but that's what happened to Elizabeth Gibson when she was walking in Manhattan. Along the street is a picture waiting for garbage collectors to pick up.
Gibson initially took that painting because she liked the colors in it. After she brought it home and researched it for many years, she discovered she had rescued a lost masterpiece. The paintings of Tres Personajes are drawn by the famous Mexican painter Rufino Tamayo. The piece was sold at an auction for 1 million dollars.
