It can be particularly impressive when you find something of historical value in all the junk and debris. Nick DiMola said that when he worked at a garbage company in 2004, he was once hired to clean an apartment of a deceased artist.
In the midst of all that, there's a cardboard box that DiMola mistook for a trash can. He sends it to a warehouse where it stays for the next few years. One day, he was curious and wanted to see what was inside. He could not have imagined these are ancient Mayan artifacts were dating back to 300 BC. There is $ 16,500 worth of objects, including a stone ax antiquity worth $ 1,000.
