12. Unturned Grenade
An undetonated grenade was one of the craziest finds among garbage trash collections. A recycling plant employee said that while many people had concerns about what could or could not be recycled, this one came as a surprise while the conveyor belt line was going through.
The trees had to be shut down, and when the old, unexploded device was recovered, a bomb squad was called. He said it was later taken and exploded into a landfill.
