Multiple Pupils
It is widely known that a typical eye should only have one pupil. However, some individuals are born with rare mutations that result in multiple pupils, a condition known as polycoria.
One might wonder if these individuals can see independently with each pupil. However, having more than one pupil may seem functionally unnecessary for most people, which may appear as an unfortunate waste of unique anatomical features.
