16. Bonsai
Growing bonsai takes years of patience and hard work. This is why a more complex tree will cost so much, and younger, simpler trees are more affordable. You can sometimes find them in the center of your local garden, but they are few and far between because it is a particular skill. If you live near a city, head to China Town or the nearest Asian supermarket. There is almost always a shop that sells ornamental plants at a variety of prices.
