19. Low seats and floor cushions
In Japan, most people, as seen in the picture above, sit on the floor, cuddle under their fireplace table, or sit around the fireplace. They are also a great culture where people kneel for long periods. Of course, in modern times, everyone has Western-style chairs and desks in their homes. But you will often see this back in tradition. If you think it will be too uncomfortable to sit or kneel on the floor, consider buying low furniture instead.
