5. B. Harley Bradley House
Built-in 1900 in Kankakee, Illinois, B. Harley Bradley House is an example of Prairie School's architectural style and the first Wright residence designed in this style. The Prairie School style developed into its name because Wright and his clients created houses inspired by plants naturally formed in the tall meadows around Kankakee.
B. Harley Bradley House has initially been fitted with 90 stained-glass windows, 82 of which are still intact. This house is a real-life example of Wright's signature style with lots of windows and a low roof. Since 1986, B. Harley Bradley House has been listed in the National Register of Historic Sites.
