28. "Don't choose a side" sign

On the traditional type of wedding, there are rows of seats on either side of the aisle. One side is for the bride, and the other is for the groom. Today, however, this tradition seems to be very outdated. That's why there's a "Don't choose a side" sign. A newlywed couple may have been friends for many years. They may meet through mutual friends or family members, so the line dividing people into which side does not always make sense. And the common purpose of getting married is to bring both parties together to have a big happy family.

Above all, no longer expect anyone who gets married to become a bride and groom. There can be two brides, two grooms, or non-binary people. There are many complicated relationships in the family. Someone may be estranged from family and have only friends to support them. In the past, it was apparent who had more people on either side of their aisle. Besides, it can be a painful reminder of someone the family has abandoned. So it makes sense to ask your guests not to opt aside.
