Unexpected 'Gliver' Suit in Ant-Man and the Wasp
In Ant-Man and the Wasp, fans noticed a surprising deviation from the traditional Wasp suit color. Instead of the classic hue from the comics, Evangeline Lilly's Wasp wore a unique "gliver" suit, resulting from an accidental combination of gold and silver tones during the costume design process.
Specialty costumes supervisor Ivo Coveney revealed that the color mishap led to the creation of the term "gliver" to describe the unintended color blend. Despite the unexpected change, the distinctive suit added a new element to the character's on-screen appearance.
