27. Become one with nature
If you're feeling lost in the landfill, reconnect with nature. Even though humans are more advanced than other species, we are still very far apart on this planet. So when we get too wrapped up in our own lives, it's easy to forget to stop and smell the roses (Literally.) Take a stroll in the park the next time you feel angry about something. It is almost guaranteed to make you feel better.
By gardening regularly, you are committed to connecting with nature as part of your schedule. Think of it like calling mom now and then. Mother Nature wants you to say "hello" too! Once you get into the habit of connecting with nature more often, you will feel calmer and more relaxed. (Planned pun!)
