18. Bring your family together

Finding an experience that the entire family can enjoy together can also be challenging. In the western world, where kids love to play video games, this is exceptionally real, and parents may want to binge on Netflix. Gardening, regardless of age, should be appreciated by everybody. The whole family can spend time outside together, cleaning the yard, growing flowers, or growing fresh vegetables.

If your child has never gardened before, try to make it fun instead of chores. Young children are often happy to operate the hose and water the plants. They may even enjoy watching bugs and butterflies. When you all have built a beautiful garden, it also becomes a point of pride for your child. It's something the whole family can share with friends when they visit.
