Elita Loresca
Elita Loresca, a Filipino-American newscaster, works for KTRK-TV in Houston, Texas. Her broadcasting career commenced with a role as a news associate for KCBS in Los Angeles. From 2001 to 2002, Loresca served as the noon weather anchor and assignment editor for KGET-TV in Bakersfield, California, before transitioning to KGPE-TV in Fresno. There, she worked as the morning and noon weather anchor. Loresca gained recognition for her coverage of major hurricanes, including Hurricane Frances, Katrina, Rita, and Wilma.
