Maria Timmer
Maria Timmer, a Ph.D. student at Central Michigan University, served as an on-air meteorologist for Fox News for six years starting in 2010. Born in Nicaragua and raised in South Florida, her passion for meteorology stemmed from her experiences living in a hurricane-prone region. Before her tenure at Fox, Timmer worked as a meteorologist for AccuWeather in State College, Pennsylvania, delivering weather forecasts in English and Spanish.
