Pocahontas — Based on Irene Bedard
Disney's 1995 animated film "Pocahontas" drew inspiration for the title character's appearance from the voice actress herself, Irene Bedard. Although a college student named Dyna Taylor also contributed as a live-action model for the character, she went uncredited in the film. Taylor had considered legal action against Disney but ultimately chose not to pursue it.
Meanwhile, Irene Bedard, Pocahontas's primary muse, continued her career by portraying various Native American roles in other productions, cementing her connection to the character and contributing to her legacy in animation.
