Start by putting books on their proper shelves, clearing up the pile of mail, and returning the TV remote control to its original position. If you have blankets, organize them neatly and store them where appropriate. Once that is done, it's time for your electronics to move on. First of all, don't forget to delete everything unrelated to your home theater or TV system. At this stage, ask yourself specific essential questions. Do you need old headphones or DVDs? Do you think an outdated VCR player still works? Your answers will help you take the next steps.

Try storing some items like gadgets, chargers, and gaming devices in their original locations. Now, it's time to tackle the toys. Review all toys for their wear and tear. If not, it's time to recycle or donate to your local orphanage for the less fortunate children to enjoy.
