16. Declutter the living room

Another hard room for you to clean out of the closet will be your living space. This is where your guests will come and sit. So you must maintain its cleanliness daily and never allow anyone to complain about it. Moreover, the living space will be used by most people most of the time, not only family members, but also friends, neighbors, and other guests you plan to invite.

Moreover, the living room will not give you many storage options. Most you can have is some bookcases and maybe a TV panel. But, it is worth mentioning that these spaces have won a lot for you.

So the key here is to decide on some permanent storage space that you can easily use for used items like magazines, remote controls, and maybe some books. On the other hand, you have no choice but to decode the space regularly. You can start with the console, side table, and bookcase. When finished, it's time to move towards the well-designed and well-structured coffee table and entertainment center. Empty everything that these places hold and start evaluating the items you think of. Finally, return their appropriate sites.
