22. Roast pig in the bath
My brother-in-law was a firefighter in NYC, and he met a bunch of Spanish speakers who couldn't speak English. In an apartment building, he saw the pig roast in their bathtub. They didn't know the tub heated the walls enough for them to start a big fire. Surprisingly, they were more interested in saving the pig than putting out the fire. The problem of not speaking the same language makes things harder to deal with.
