3. Intimacy

A really good habit of having when designing your home is to find opportunities to create Intimacy. For example, in your living room, it might be a good idea to arrange seats to encourage people to chat, instead of just having a couch across from the TV. Intimacy can also come in the form of family dinners. Do you just have a kitchen island to eat, or can family gather around the table and chat? Always pay attention to how you can feel reunited in your home.

Obviously, Intimacy has a double meaning here. In your master bedroom and bathroom, find ways to make your space more romantic, instead of just a place to sleep and get ready in the morning. In a long-term relationship, you often struggle to keep things interesting and new. Try exploring ways you can make your common room more private with your girlfriend.
