16. Masculine and Feminine Energy Balance

Most living areas will project the best feeling when there is a balance between manly and feminine. For example, imagine a room with a pink carpet, flower curtain, pink wall, porcelain doll, and a collectible plate with kittens on it. Most of you would think, "Wow, too much." Too much of what, exactly? You may not know how to put it into words why you don't like it. But the answer is that way too much women's power. It did not completely exhibit any masculine attributes. Such a room will bring a feeling of being out of place and out of balance.

Please remember that your gender or sexual orientation has nothing to do with this. Many of us are challenging what "masculinity" and "feminine" really mean in the modern world. Whatever their gender, each human being has both masculine and feminine elements. In Feng Shui, they suggest that you ought to have a more outstanding balance in your home in terms of the gender you are seeking to impress if you want to draw love into your life. On top of that, the bed's right side is the "masculine" energy, while the left side is "feminine." Once you start combining masculinity and femininity, things immediately begin to feel more balanced. A great example of a designer that does this well is Joanna Gaines. She has always balanced between both genders or tends towards a gender-neutral design.
