Finding items that no longer serve a function is one of the critical causes of clutter and disorganization in someone's home. If you've got old junk lying around in your garage, for instance, is that helping you? Do you get some benefit from it? Or . time you step through the garage door, does it take up space and drain your happiness?

Ask yourself if anything has a meaning when you are planning to build a new room. Its aim can often be to add beauty to the room only. But most of the time, everything should be practical and, for whatever reason, actually functional.
