2. Coral Bells
Coral Bells, also known as Alum Root or the Heuchera family, are incredibly adaptable plants. They can survive in any amount of sunlight, from full sun to complete shade, a feat only a few plants can match.
These unusual plants appear in a rainbow of colors, ranging from bright lime green to dark crimson, rich ochres, and near-black purples. Late in the summer, these perennials produce spikes of blooms that contrast attractively with the deep green leaves — another durable, low-maintenance option.
