"The Mighty Ducks" certainly has its devoted fans, and one of its stars, Emilio Estevez, had already made a name for himself in the decade preceding its release. He was part of the renowned "Brat Pack" and had memorable roles in films like "The Breakfast Club" and "St. Elmo's Fire." Interestingly, Emilio Estevez is the only member of his famous family to retain his original surname.
Looking ahead to 2022, Emilio Estevez will be directing and writing "Young Guns III: Alias: Billy the Kid" while reprising his role in the Disney reboot of "The Mighty Ducks."
