12. Oversized Items
Besides the pianos, as we mentioned above, other oversized items shouldn't be donated to the thrift stores too. One of the reasons is they will take up too much space and will need many people to move around. Besides, they also take a long time to sell them. However, if you have large appliances, couches, cabinets, and other big items, try listing them on resale sites like Craigslist or LetGo. If no one is buying, call a garbage shipping company or your waste firm to schedule a pickup. If you try to discharge large items at a thrift store and they say no, DO NOT leave things after that they close. That causes a lot of problems for thrift store employees.
