Smashmouth, The Bread Incident

At a typical concert, certain elements are anticipated by the audience. However, witnessing concert-goers wielding entire loaves of bread is not one of them. Yet, during Smashmouth's performance at a food festival, an unconventional vendor decided to distribute such bread loaves among the attendees.

Consequently, the crowd found themselves equipped with an unexpected arsenal to toss at the band when they took the stage. In response, the lead singer, Steve Harwell, initially began reprimanding and making menacing remarks towards the audience before security swiftly intervened and prevented any further escalation.
