Shawn Marion – Dislocated Finger
Despite continuing to play professionally, Shawn Marion, the basketball player, has a severely dislocated pinky finger that he has chosen not to rectify. Shawn has revealed that he consistently dislocates his finger during sports activities, and the effort and time required to fix it each time outweigh the benefits.
The initial injury to Shawn's finger occurred when he was only nine. As a result, his pinky knuckle remains permanently misaligned and swollen. Fortunately, these recurring finger injuries have not hindered Shawn from pursuing his basketball career. He has managed to adapt and perform at a high level despite the condition of his finger.
