Padma Lakshmi – Scar
After initially attempting to conceal her scars, Padma Lakshmi has reached a point of acceptance and self-love. One of the most prominent scars on her arm resulted from a car accident she experienced at 14.
During her early days as a model, Padma would pose in positions that concealed her arm or use makeup to hide the scar. However, she has grown to embrace and cherish her scar as an integral part of her identity. Padma believes that even if allowed to erase the scar magically, she would keep it, recognizing its significance and the unique story it tells.
