He Doesn't Believe in Second Place
At first glance, it seems like the swimmer who posted this photo wasn't lying. We assumed he was just racing against the swimmer in the lane next to him, and maybe he really did turn his head to check if he was winning.
However, there are only two possibilities here: either he had no clue the person in the third lane was also in the race, or he's purposely ignoring the fact that this other swimmer was way ahead of him! Either way, the truth is hard to miss.
