To be fair, this is probably one of the oldest tricks in the social media playbook. All you need is a beach towel and some sunshine, and you can easily convince everyone that you're lounging at the beach, soaking up the sun.
But this guy didn't realize someone else was snapping a photo of him while he tried to pull off this little lie. Turns out, he wasn't at the beach at all—he was actually just lying in a field! Caught red-handed, his beachside fantasy didn't last long.
