Some people work hard all their lives but don't own many things. However, a huge fortune will probably change everything. If your family member passes away, taking cares of their personal belongings will become your duty. In some cases, you might receive a household full of stuff. For some people, they will feel so fed up with everything, so they resolve to throw everything out to the trash. However, others could feel very sentimental as those things once belonged to their beloved family members. As a result, they might want to keep everything. That is the start of hoarding life!

Before thinking that if you get rid of this stuff, you are betraying your beloved family; remind yourself of this question: would they want you to feel burdened with their things? Most of the time, NO will be the answer. Now, the most effective way to do this is to go through every item. After that, you should look for stuff that will come in handy for your daily life. AAT the end of the day, keep the things that are most valuable. Even if you donate them, the memories will always be there.
