Many charity businesses now have a system that allows them to send SMS alerts thanks to modern technology. You'd have to sign up for their loyalty program and provide them with your personal information, of course. They usually give you a one-time discount if you join up for their newsletter. Then, if a sale occurs, you'll receive an alert on your phone.
It's possible that you will not want to take advantage of every sale that pops up on your phone. This is, however, an excellent method to be notified of a sale that you may otherwise miss. You may use this tip for almost any retailer, not just secondhand stores. Text notifications are used by clothing companies such as Lucky Brand, American Eagle, and others to advise customers of future specials.
